iPhone 17 Pro: where precisely are the front mic and speaker?

I'm looking for a screen protector for the 17 Pro. Surprisingly, many don't even have a hole for the front camera, much less for the front mic and speaker. I often shoot video clips using the built in mics for audio, and I don't believe the front speaker can deliver "studio quality" when covered by a piece of hardened glass!

So I would like to know the precise location of the front mic/speaker. Diagrams like this one come close, but they don't really give the precise location - are they in the "crevice" between the screen and rim? At the edge of the screen? I'm not seeing it. Thanks!

There are several speakers and microphones on the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max.

The speaker and mic used for the front facing camera is at the very top of the screen, most cases should have a slit there to accommodate both.

The other microphones and speakers are on the bottom edge.

In addition to the good information Phil0124 Posted, most modern, good quality screen protectors cover the entire face of the phone and don't need a cutout for the front facing camera. My new iPhone 17 Pro Max is screen protected and it covers the selfie camera, but the selfie camera works just fine and doesn't to be unprotected.
