I’m at 96GB. My culprit is wallpapers and lock screens. I could use up all remaining memory in less than an hour with one of my lock/Home Screen switching shortcuts. Kind of like a Home Screen slideshow.

Do you mess around with wallpapers much? Any focus mode or shortcuts that change wallpapers more than a few times a day?

if this is your issue, I’ve tried every “trick” I’ve come across to reduce this particular bloat in System Data. The only thing that works is backup, reset, restore. Some system updates clear it also, basically a partial reset. 26.0 and 26.1Beta did. I heard 26.0.1 did also.

if it’s something else, you could try the System Time trick or the ProRes trick (if you have a 15-17 pro model). Apparently those work for some people to clear quite a bit off.
