What to do if data transfer to iPhone 17 fails?

Followed instructions fir moving data to my iPhone 17 from an iPhone 13.

old phone screen says 44 minutes left to complete- new iPhone didn’t say anything And several hours later still the same.

new phone seem ok but not sure all is there- WHAT SHOULD I DO….

start all over ?
