Clock app alarm still broken years later.

This is officially morning 3 with the new iPhone 17 pro, and my alarm has failed to go off twice. Can confirm the clock app alarm bug is still a problem with iPhone 17 and IOS 26. Alarm is active, sound is on, volume is up. Yes I’ve restarted my phone. Interestingly enough I’ve noticed the issue seems to happen when there is an update available. Problem is, I have my phone set to auto update and it NEVER does. Every time I wake up in the morning to a notification that iPhone couldn’t update in the night and eventually have to manually update. Perhaps the attempt to update is what’s screwing with the alarms. Either way, there is a bug with the clock app that has been ignored for years or there is a bug with auto updates that has been ignored for years. Oh, also.. I’m on IOS 26.0 and my phone keeps telling me I need to update to IOS 26.0. make that make sense.
