Live text from image TAHOE 26.0

Hello,

After the last update Tahoe 26.0 text from image and pdf not work. Apple Inteligence is on, Language EN US , live text in menu is on. How to fix? Imac M4.

If Live Text was working before the upgrade to Tahoe 26.0, then it should continue to work as mine does when using Quick Look on an image with text in it.

A PDF with text and an image in it likely will not let you select any text embedded in that image with Preview. Tried this with a few PDFs…

Revisit System Settings > General > Language & Region panel and verify that Live Text is enabled.

For some reason my live text also stopped working after upgrade to Tahoe. Turned out the setting you mention was disabled and re-enabling it did the trick. Thanks!
