Finding and deleting App Background Activity extension

I deleted an application, and all the related files that I could discover. However there is one that had continued to allude me. It is an App Background Activity extension. Now I disabled it, but I would like to remove it all together. I would appreciate all the help and suggestions. Thank you.

That sounds like Google Chrome...(?) Google is an advertising, personal information broker, and surveillance company

try

open the Library/Application Support/Google folder in your user account, you can delete the Chrome subfolder. That should get rid of any installed Chrome extensions.

Google Chrome Help

Places to look for pieces, Finder>Go>Go To Folder copy & paste each location:

/usr/local/

/Library/Application Support/

/Library/LaunchDaemons/

/Library/LaunchAgents/

you can also look for application specific related items:

• ~/Library/Application Support/

• ~/Library/Preferences/

• ~/Library/Caches/

• ~/Library/LaunchAgents/
