Audio MIDI Setup - cannot connect MIDI devices
The issue: Audio MIDI Setup no longer allows me to visually connect MIDI devices via in/out ports.
The devices are properly online, they all respond when testing via the 'Test MIDI Setup' option. They even appear and function when assigned within MainStage or Logic Pro.
Although I can connect the MIDI devices' in/out ports when in list view (versus icon view issue above), the connections do not actually work, with no evidence MIDI data is getting routed between devices.
For the moment, I can work around the issue but I wanted to raise awareness here in case there is something more going on than 'user error.'
