Is there a way to restore the classic Launchpad in macOS Tahoe (26.0)?

After updating to macOS Tahoe 26.0 (25A354), I noticed that the classic Launchpad is gone and replaced with the new Applications view.

For me this is extremely difficult – I relied on Launchpad’s structured grid layout daily, and as someone with OCD the new interface feels chaotic and very stressful to use.

Is there any way (official or workaround) to bring back the old Launchpad?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can take a look at https://www.launchie.app

Not a criticism but never assume anything remains the same. Apple can and does change things in its software. And it doesn’t just change for change sake. Apple is always looking for improvements, does do user and developer surveys, focus groups, release notes, reviews, and reads all feedback. Many reviewers are thrilled with the Apps feature, which is Spotlight on steroids. That you are frustrated with the decision to replace Launchpad is quite normal and that’s why the Feedback system is so important for users to use. If enough users, developers, critics, reviewers hammer away at Launchpad goin away it could make a difference.
