Hi i recently installed IOS 18 onto my iPad it said that i can now use standby more on my iPad but i cant find it anywhere can someone please help me find it thanks

Some release notes are generic - and apply to both iOS and iPadOS platforms. While iOS and iPadOS are closely related, some features will not be applicable to both OS platforms.
To reiterate, the Standby function is currently only available to iPhone.

Standby mode is a feature exclusive to iPhone. For avoidance of doubt, this is not a feature of iPadOS.
Standby can be configured to show a clock, be used a photo frame or display live results while the device is connected to external power in landscape orientation.
