How do I restore the old Launchpad in macOS Tahoe
How do I restore the old Launchpad in macOS Tahoe, and how can I disable the liquid glass effects on the phone? They completely ruined everything.
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 26.0

In short, the macOS Launchpad cannot be restored in Tahoe.
You can reduce the Liquid Glass effect on your iPhone by reducing transparency.
Go to: Settings -> Accessibility -> Display & Text Size -> Turn on the Reduce Transparency toggle switch
I admire your sticktoitiveness. :) I unsubscribed from all "Launchpad" threads long ago.
Or, your mother was mistaken. 🤔

She would have said that was unlikely.
👍
Have they fixed this yet? Every SINGLE TIME I GO TO LAUNCH AN APPLICATION I GET ANGRY.
Hi Bob - Can you post a link to the LaunchPad on Github? I have been looking there, and cannot find it.
How do you fit all your apps on the dock?

LaunchPad on GitHub
“Not for most people.” Definitely haven’t had the best experience with it myself so far. A quick google search says otherwise.
Very sad Apple removed Launchpad. Check out https://launchosapp.com/
According to Idrisseabright googles AI overview doesn’t count. Regardless 26 is a dumpster fire. You CAN’T change my mind. Agree to disagree.
Launchpad is great with the trackpad. I haven't used a mouse on a mac since the 2000's.
The Dock is great with a trackpad. All of the apps that I use regularly are on it, and I didn’t have to waste screen space with Launchpad.
I set wallpaper to solid black. Save on battery too. Must admit I do like the app icons set to always dark. Neat.
I'd like to join in encouraging Apple to bring back Launchpad in MacOS. In the meantime, I'm using AppGrid, but please, Apple: Give us Launchpad back in MacOS 26.2.
