I tried several times to unlock my iPad with the wrong code. I hadn’t used it in awhile, but I now know the passcode and it says try back in 15 minutes. I think I’m locked out. What to do??

Wait at least that long, then enter the correct passcode.
As long as the iPad is showing timeout delays, you still have one or more chances to enter the correct passcode. If your blow all of them, you will need to reset and erase the iPad to get back in.
