Result: User is taken to the drawing window and must dismiss it, a very annoying bug. This happens every time and greatly slows typing.
Anyone else seeing this?

FWIW, I've found this *won't* happen until Messages has been rotated to landscape and then back to portrait. After that - yep, exactly as you've described - normal typing is constantly interrupted by the unwanted option to send a crummy doodle.

ios 26: Messages: Clicking just to the right of the letter "L" opens the "drawing" window. Makes Messages difficult to use.
