Re-install the macOS on top of your existing macOS to sort upgrade issues. Easy enough to do.

If you bought it only a few days ago you should be contacting Apple Support, here: Official Apple Support. Use that link and no other.
To be clear then, you bought a used Mac. You will need to pay to get it fixed.
