Battery Drain Issue in iPhone 17

I am experiencing a significant battery drain issue on my iPhone 17. I have noticed that two specific apps — the Settings app and the Home & Lock Screen activity — are consuming an unusually high amount of battery in the background.


Even with minimal usage, these processes appear at the top of the battery usage list and drain the charge much faster than expected. I believe this may be a software-related issue that needs optimization.


Kindly look into this matter, as it is affecting the overall battery performance of the device.

You are still experiencing the background processes running after setting up the device. All your photos are being optimized using object detection algorithms and if you restored any data, those files are being indexed. Also from a restore, all your apps are being updated. You just got the device yesterday, so it clearly has not finished the set up performed in the background.


Also, it is the green battery graph showing the previous 24 hours that is the one useful to see the battery drain. Give it 3-5 days and report back your results.

I am writing to follow up regarding the ongoing issue with my device battery. Despite my previous communication and the steps suggested, the battery continues to drain unusually fast. Unfortunately, I have not noticed any improvement so far.
