Error window "Cannot send message using the server" in Mac Mail is too large so I can't continue

I sent an email with more than 100 recipients. I got this message:

The server response was: Your message has too many recipients. For more information regardingGoogle's sending limits, go tohttps://support.google.com/mail/?p=TooManyRecipientsError d9443c01a7336-27ed689ffa1sm36041915ad.99 - gsmtp

Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be sent.

And then the rest of it is hidden from the screen.

I made the display size smallest and still could not reach the error where it let's me edit the message.

I've quit mac mail and rebooted and I still cannot get to edit the message.
