Airpods Pro 3 - low frequency sound leak in noise cancellation mode

I have this exact problem. It’s only on my right airpod and sounds like a low bass hum. Kind of like you are putting a cup over your ear. At first I tried to ignore it but now I can make it out even when listening to my music at a higher volume to try and cover it up. I was hoping the new firmware update would fix it but I'm currently at the gym after updating them and hear it right now.

I have also been facing the same problem. Also from around 3 days after purchase. Received on launch day and soon after this low freq leakage began. Seems to only happen when music is playing with ANC on. Turning off all of the relevant settings like convo awareness and hearing protection changes nothing. Still leaking low freq noise. Newest firmware 8a358 didnt fix it either.

I thought this was fixed but is still not. If anything it seems to happen more now. Not sure if caused by firmware update or because of the larger ear tips I’m trying. With the size large now it happens all the time but before with size medium it was a bit less frequent. Rules out a bad seal I guess. I have to reinsert my AirPods every couple of minutes to retrigger the anc to work as it should. Basically unusable.

At the gym and noticed a lot more noise coming through as a whole and the low freq still there. Thought maybe I’d just gotten used to the level of anc in these but they used to be completely silent even in a full gym. Scrolling Reddit and see someone mention a new firmware. Check my firmware and it’s the new 8B25. Bruh.

Same for A3064 (8B25). They replaced both pods, though an issue with the microphone was detected only with the left one. However, right now, when I'm on the train, I still can hear this low-frequency noise. I remember no such issue with Pro 1 or Pro 2. Very disappointing.

Same issue with this low-frequency noise, so I returned the AirPods Pro, A3064, 8B25 to the reseller and got my money back. In the mean time using my Pro 1 and getting another product later. Very disappointing.

on my second pair of APP3’s and the problem persists. The bass feedback loop makes the headphones nearly unusable when it kicks in. I couldn’t possibly recommend anyone buy these until this issue is solved. Apple hasn’t even responded to this discussion thread yet and it’s been months.

I replaced my AirPods again a week ago, on January 29, hoping it was some hardware issue. The problem is still there. 8B34 does not solve it. That probably means it’s a hardware or some core issue Apple is ignoring or can’t solve. It is so annoying because ANC is the main reason I use the Pro series, and I replaced the Pro 2 with the Pro 3. How can you base the whole product's advertising on a feature that doesn't work correctly? If I knew that, I would never replace Pro 2 with Pro 3. I have been a fan of the series since its launch. Now, I literally hate it. Extremely disappointed.

I’m experiencing this same issue. I tried factory reset, and it seemed to resolve the issue at first, but it came back about 30 minutes later. It makes the AirPods Pro 3 very uncomfortable to wear.

I'm experiencing something similar, but for me it happens when I switch between adaptive and ANC modes, otherwise is fine, but the interaction between them seems to be bugged.

A3064 - still occurring in 8B14c

我在在安静的房间使用时会听到室友的呼噜声是通过低频传到耳朵里的还有窗外车辆经过的轰隆声也会传到耳朵，尤其是在车间里面机器运转发出的声音传到耳机里尤为明显非常烘耳，声音像是啸叫声还有空调运行的的声音，在安静的房间内左耳有电流声，非常困扰，我去线下检测没有硬件问题使用过程中就有问题，我已经从固件8A358更新到8B25还是有这些问题，重置会变好，下次佩戴会再次出现。

When walking outside, from the wind I get a ‘loud bass’ noise that tries to block other noises, which is so uncomfortable. I am unsure whether they are defective hardware wise so idk if I should return them
