AX 88179a Ethernet Adapter not recognized on MacBook after macOS Tahoe update

Since I installed Tahoe a couple of days ago, I can no more use my Usb-C -> RJ45 Network Adapter (AX 88179a chip). My Macbook simply doesn´t sees/finds it. On Sequoia it just worked fine. Any suggestions anybody? I strongly need it for my work.

Thanks in advance.

You can try an alternate adapter and compare your results(?)

Belkin USB-C to 2.5Gb Ethernet Adapter - Apple

Try a different port, not the DFU port and compare your results(?) Identify the ports on your Mac

For your third party adapter —if in doubt search the developers website or contact their: Support/Help/FAQ/Known issues/compatibility/updates…
