Photos widgets are not available in iOS 26 CarPlay.

Photos aren't showing up in the widget section on my iPhone with iOS 26. My car is a BMW i4. The photo widget that everyone has on social media and the internet isn't showing up for me. So, when I try to add a widget on my phone, no photos or albums appear. I found a setting in Apple's CarPlay forums that says there's a hide or show album option in the settings section, but that doesn't show up for me either. There's no such setting in CarPlay.

If there's a bug here, I'll ask Apple for help.

Make sure that photos app on your mobile do not require Face ID. If it’s secure with Face ID, photos widget will not show up.

True bro even I did updated to ios 26 for this feature but can find any photo option in the widget section at first I thought of that due to older model of iphone (13pro) might be this feature isn’t available but u got 15 pro and still suffering with the same problem then definitely it does make sense that it might be a bug.

i Did turned off Face ID still the photos option in the widget section in CarPlay didn’t appeared.
