Missing cinematic mode on telephoto lens in new iPhone's

Does anyone know why we can’t have cinematic mode on the telefoto lens of new iPhones? This was my favorite feature on my iPhone 14 Pro, which allowed me to capture cinematic videos with a 3x zoom. With high focal length lens it was looking really cinematic. However, when I switched to the 16 Pro Max, I realized that I only had 1x and 2x zoom options. I believed this limitation was due to the “Fusion Camera” system, which was only available on the main camera. Therefore, I purchased the 17 Pro Max, hoping that cinematic mode would return to the telefoto lens, as it is now also part of the “Fusion Camera” system. Unfortunately, it still only offers 1x and 2x zoom options. I think cinematic mode makes a lot of sense on higher focal length lenses and I am missing that a lot.
