my iphone 8 plus wont update to iOS 26 public beta

The iPhone 8 Plus is not compatible with iOS 17 and higher. If you need or want something higher than iOS 16.*, you will need a more recent iPhone.

iOS 18/26 is not supported on iPhone 8 plus. There is no point joining the beta program until you have a more compatible phone for iOS 26 (iPhone 11/SE2 or later).
