It’s the opposite for me. Silence unknown callers is not working even though this is turned on. I’m still getting calls from unknown numbers (spam) even though this option is turned on: Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers.

I do not want to get calls from unknown phone numbers to prevent scamming.

No. It hasn’t. Still persist even on 26.1

I’m using this feature turn it on / off through shortcuts time based automation.

Even when the Silencing mode disabled (I checked it on settings screen), it still doesn’t ring.

I have upgraded to 26.0.1 and I stumbled upon this thread searching for the solution to that issue.

It is happening to me too as of 2025-11-03 on iOS 26.0.1 (23a355) with Screen Unknown Callers set to Never.
