Window management issues after upgrading to MacOS 26 (Tahoe)

After upgrading to MacOS 26 (Tahoe) a few days ago, my experience with Mac has been basically unusuable.

I can no longer drag windows around.

If I open a new window, it sometimes opens in the background instead of the foreground.

If I do a 4 finger swipe up to see all the windows and click to bring another one to the foreground, it does not change the foreground/background.

Sometimes, on multi monitor setups, windows are totally invisible, but still present.

SOOOOOO many issues with window management which makes this totally unusable. I've scoured through apple forums and reddit to find solutions but nothing really helps. Stage manager fixes the window switching, but I still can't move windows around in a multi window screen AND windows disappear sometimes.

Please help!!! This is such an awful experience and I am considering switching to linux because this is fairly unusable.
