Missing emails after reinstalling Yahoo Mail app on iPad

Well did you re-add the yahoo account?

SAME issue. IPad and iPhone both not connecting to yahoo. Deleted mail account and now I cannot add it back in - says email account is already there - but it isn’t . Apple kept telling me to log into Yahoo over and over again & got locked out - had to change my password there. But there’s no longer a way to update passwords for mail accounts in mail app or mail settings. I updated the password in the password app, but still not working on my ipad, which still has the yahoo mail account, and I still can’t add it to my iphone (on which I deleted the email account and unsuccessfully trying to add it back.). This is MADDENING and it has clearly been an issue since 18.0.0!
