Unable to copy and paste entire table in Notes app on macOS 26

I am trying to duplicate (copy) a table in a note in Notes app on a 2024 Mac Book Air running Mac OS 26.0 in order to paste it back elsewhere in that note or another note and am unable to do so.

I can select the table completely using CTL + A or cell clicking top left to bottom right + SHFT in order to then CTL + C the table. But when I then CTL + V somewhere else, it simply pastes a single cell. I have also tried using Copy and Paste from the menu.

I suspect it is a bug but thought I check with those much more experienced than I.

Kind regards

Colin

I have the same problem on MacOS 26.0. I was able to work around it by selecting the table in Notes, cmd-C to copy the table, pasting the table into a blank Microsoft Word document (cmd-v), and then reversing the process by copying by selecting/copying the table from Word and pasting it back to Notes.
