macOS Tahoe update causing OneDrive to quit in the background

After updating to Tahoe, I had similar issues. I uninstalled the AppStore’s OneDive app and reinstalled the standalone OneDrive app, which works without problems on my M2 Mac Mini.

I downloaded it directly from the Microsoft page.

are you running the App Store version or one downloaded directly from ms?

The App Store version has proven to be more stable and tends to be updated in a more timely manner.

I've had no problems with one drive installed from the App Store.

Update: since the update to macOS 26.0.1 OneDrive has been running stable, without quitting.

I have this same issue. I removed, reinstalled, tried app store version, standalone version, older versions, and beta versions. I have even cleaned all traces of OneDrive out and then reinstalled. That was the only thing that sort of worked. Remove any trace, install an old version and then it launched. Started an update and then crashed when it updated to the newer version.

I’ve tried both. They both proved problematic. Needed to remove any traces from previous installations before I got it stable. I still don’t know what caused the issue

Not me, OneDrive is working normally on my M4 MBP running Tahoe.

Same here: on macOS (not: iOS) Tahoe OneDrive automatically quits in the background.

same. Also doesn't open app. Opens folder instead. Have tried a ton of troubleshooting and can't get it to work.

Same Problem since Mac OS Tahoe OneDrive still not work. After selectin Folder different Error Codes -1895824895 / -63 and quitting

Same here. Not working since last nights update to Tahoe. Drat...

App Version as MS Version, both exact same behaviour.

Update: too bad, OneDrive is quietly quitting again, even after the macos update.
