Wallpaper disappears when switching desktops

I'm experiencing the same on macOS 26.0.1 on an M4 MacBook Air. Doing a little experimenting, it appears to only occur if there's a full screen application running, as soon as I close those or take them out of full screen the black background bug disappears. But yes, experiencing the same bug if I'm using full screen apps.

To move between Spaces (virtual desktops) on a Mac, you can use a three or four-finger swipe left or right on the trackpad, a two-finger swipe on a Magic Mouse,

Are you referring to the momentary Black Vertical Bar that appears when switching from Desktop 1 to Desktop 2 ?

Tested using a M4 Desktop and Magic Mouse with macOS 26.0 Tahoe

Seems normal a behaviour

Perhaps things may or may not change once the point update of Tahoe is released
