How to remove Downloads file from Dock on Mac?
I want to delete the Downloads file from the dock. How can I do this?

Drag it up and off the dock until the word Remove appears next to it, then let go. Or Right click (command+click, two finger click) to bring up the context menu and select Options ➜ "Remove From Dock".
