Make apple phone my default dialer on Mac.

I sometimes use my Google Phone via my Mac, but only on Chrome. Unfortunately, I can't seem to make the Apple Phone my default dialer for anything. I mean, even if I go into my apple app in OS26 when I try and dial it opens Chrome and will not dial from the Apple App.

How do I fix this?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 26.0

Yea, I updated to Tahoe and there is no longer a "Default for Calls" setting.

I have removed Chrome from my computer, emptied the trash and searched for the Chrome Installer (none).

When I try to make a call from my Mac phone app if it is to a number in my recent calls list, it works. If I try use the dialer it tries to download Google Chrome. If someone calls my mobile, my Mac rings. FaceTime works as it should. Basically, everything works as it should except trying to use the number key pad. That opens Chrome and when Chrome is not available, it installs Chrome?
