Cannot get full resolution when connecting my MacBook Pro M4 Chip to an LG External monitor

Computer: M4 Chip Macbook Pro 24GB

Monitor: LG 27US500-W Ultrafine4k UHD monitor

HDMI Cable: High Speed HDMI cable with Ethernet E508028-Z

Dock: Anker USB-C Hub 10 in 1 with 4K@60Hz HDMI Display port.

I'm hoping someone can help me! My issue is that when I connect my new Macbook to my monitor, I cannot use the highest resolution. I plug it in using the HDMI that came with the 4K monitor, which seems to be labeled as being capable of 4K resolution. I am using a dock, since the Macbook does not have an HDMI port, but still when I use the extended display (or if I close my Macbook), my computer will only allow the 1920x1080 resolution. I put all my details up top in case something in this chain is not what it needs to be.

I've tried clicking on "Show all Resolutions", but it still maxes out at the 1920x1080 resolution. When I turn on the monitor, it warns me that the computer is not using the best resolution for the monitor, but I can't figure out how to get my Macbook to increase the resolution. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? While I don't do graphic art or anything, I do a lot of spreadsheet work, and the pixelation of the numbers is pretty horrific on the extended monitor. Thanks for your thoughts and suggestions!

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 15.6

The M4 MacBook Pro has 1 HDMI port on the right side, next to the SD card ad the Thunderbolt 4 port:

What kind of Dock are you using? The dock's HDMI output may be limited to 1080p.

Use the HDMI port on the Mac instead of the Dock.
