Transferring large files and folders from macOS 26 to Ipad Pro 3rd gen, ipadOS 26

Hello,

What is a good option of transferring large files and folders, in the 100s of GB size to an ipad Pro 3rd gen 512 GB?

I've tried airdrop with a USB C Anker cable attached between the macbook Pro M1 Pro and the Ipad, and sending a folder just over 100 GB and it seems stuck, no progress on macOS side!

Alternatively, I noticed that I can also see the shared folders from the macbook pro on the ipad, and copy things. Although this broke once, but perhaps due to the ipad going to sleep. I may try again but this is no ideal. It would be better if:

I would prefer to see a shared folder from the ipad on the macbook pro, is that possible?

Please do not suggest web-based solutions, like icloud, I prefer to transfer it on the local wireless network or USB C.
