Yes! And iOS is a complete mess.

I can work for a longer time, but it also happens there. What I haven't tested is a clean install. This takes too much time for me to get my Mac ready to work again.

Chrome had no problems until I updated to Tahoe... why do you guys focus on the pointer, rather than the moon?

I'm just saying it wouldn't be the first time OSX has a bug. It's a pretty simple concept, if you want to understand it.

You don't need to power off Macs (that often). If you are doing so often, you're definitely doing it wrong. 😃

My experience is different. I bought a new MacMini last week running on Tahoe. I needed to reinstall the OS with a fair amount of difficulty, but some of the problems seemed to go away after that reinstall.

The big problem is that there are no USB-A ports; many of the equipment I use need USB-A to Type B cables. I had an old USB-C to HDMI-USB A adapter. It worked for 2 days, but, as the reviews have shown elsewhere, these go out prematurely, and it did (this cost $69). I understand Apple wants to innovate and innovated products cost a bundle, but why penalize your customers by changing everything so that they have to go and get new peripherals or use precision guesswork to find out how to make things work. That is not nice.
