Massive memory leaks in MacOS Tahoe 26.0.1

Until I disable Password AutoFill, eventually, the autofill helper processes will continue to grow until killed.

Is there a workaround other than disabling passwords completely?

Most likely your 3rd party apps need to be updated for compatibility with macOS 26.0.1. Contact the developers.

The only Autofill process running on my Mac is from Microsoft Word and it's using 12.2 MB (of my 48 GB).

You could try booing in Safe Mode, which disables 3rd party extensions and performs some system cleanup. Then reboot normally.
