No cellular data on my iPhone 12 mini after iOS 26.0.1 update

Honestly, even though Apple is the manufacturer, services on the phone are provided by the carrier. Here are some steps you can try

-Check if you have a physical SIM or eSIM just to make sure your eSIM wasn't deleted. You can check the eSIM-related info under settings>cellular, and the physical SIM is like the one you insert in the phone.

-Be sure to know your wifi password because once you reset network settings ,all of the wifi connections the phone had in the past will be removed,the current connected wifi password can be found under settings>wifi >click on the "i" icon and then click the dots so the password is visible

-if all of your settings are correct you will need to reset network setting to refresh the connectivity,the options are under Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

-and after all the steps if there is still an issue you will first contact your carrier

I managed to fix it by going to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

I have a 12 Mini, and after the upgrade to IOS26 all the communications had stopped,

Bluetooth/Cellular and WIFI.

After I updated to IOS 26.0.1 the Bluetooth and the WIFI is back but I still don’t have

cellular comm.

I am using a standard SIM (not Esim), and I contacted the network operator to change to an

Esim, I thought it might help – but they couldn’t activate it on my phone,

without understand what is the problem.

I tried all the methods from the web - took the sim out and in, Flight mode, even turn the

direction of the sim, nothing helps.

I did put this sim in another phone, and the second phone is working, I also took another

sim and put it in this phone - and it is not working.

I went to 2 local workshops for phone repair, both said that they are familiar with this

issue because I wasn’t the first one with the same problem.

I don’t understand why Apple putting their head in the sand and ignoring this problem

(and I am really struggling not to say that they did it on purpose).

The minimum that Apple should do, is sign back the IOS18 so we can be able to downgrade.

By now, you have surely contacted your carrier for help, right?

Same problem on iPhone 13, iOS26 broke something and now even after downgrading to 18 and updating now to 26.0.1 it's not working.

I have the same problem on my iPhone 15 pro max. Was working before the update. On eSIM.
