My new iphone 16 pro max shows a manufacturing date of January 2025 and first use August 2025, should I be concerned about the battery health and is the phone genuine?

1: iPhone must be manufactured before it can be sold.

2: Apple can charge and update while sealed in the box.

3: Serial numbers are useful for warranty checks by Apple, and not useful for detecting counterfeits. One legit device, with many counterfeit copies of that same serial number, is quite possible.

4: buy only from Apple or Apple authorized sellers, as purchases from online sites are routinely problematic.

You said Safari, but I suspect you mean that you are using Google Search, which provides their Gemini results on the Google search page in Safari. Those are not coming from Apple. You can change your Search Engine in Safari to a different one, such as DuckDuckGo that does not include AI results.
