Cannot change Apple ID region from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan - all requirements met
Hello Apple Community,
I desperately need help changing my Apple ID country/region and I'm stuck in what seems like an impossible situation.
My Situation:
- I permanently relocated from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan
- My Kazakhstani bank card is no longer functional
- I cannot use App Store services because of the region mismatch
What I've Already Done:
- Cancelled ALL subscriptions
- Confirmed all subscriptions show "Expired" status
- Waited over 48 hours after the last subscription expired
- Verified my account balance is 0.00₸
- Checked for hidden subscriptions - found none
- Not a member of any Family Sharing group
- Tried changing region via iPhone settings
- Tried changing region via iTunes on computer
- Contacted Apple Support via email - received only automated responses
The Problem:
Despite meeting ALL the standard requirements, I still get the error: "Cannot Change Country or Region"
The system says: "You cannot change the store front information for your account at this time"
This creates an impossible cycle:
- I cannot add my Uzbekistani payment method (region mismatch)
- I cannot download apps, including the Apple Support app
- I cannot access any App Store services
- My Kazakhstani card no longer works

Has anyone successfully resolved this issue? Is there a hidden requirement I'm missing? Can Apple moderators manually assist with region changes?
