Audible Book handoff from iphone11 to Apple CarPlay

Since installing IOS 26 onto my iPhone 11 when listening to a book from Audible, I switch on my car and Apple CarPlay takes over and plays. The problem is that the sound quality gets very poor. To correct this I stop the playback then restart from the CarPlay screen. Sound quality is then perfect. Has anyone had same problem and how can I resolve it?

Apple CarPlay has no sound for Apple Maps, Google Maps and Cell Phone calls. Music ausio is fine My phones used with the car stereo/Apple CarPlay are both iPhone 13's with IOS V16.6. My car stereo is a Boss BE7ACP and I am connected via a USB cable. I have verified the cable is good. In the Boss settings I have defined the default volume levels of music, navigation and phone call audio. I set it at 30 for all three. I have verified in the navigation apps that nothing is muted and sound is enabled. I have done that in the app on my phone and in the app while using Apple CarPlay. I get music audio using Spotify and SiriusXM. When using navigation it dims the music audio to give directions but there is no audio of directions. When making a cell phone call or reviewing a text message, it stops the music audio but there is no cell phone audio of either spoken word or reading of a text message. I have browsed the questions in the Community but have not found a solution that helps me. Does anyone have any thoughts/solutions on this?

iPhone 15 PRO MAX - car speakers fine for apps but not for phone calls using Carplay My new iPhone 15 pro max was working fine with CarPlay but as of the last couple of days, it will not use the auto speakers. All the apps (music, navigation , etc on CarPlay work fine with my car speakers but not the phone calls. Any thoughts?

I am having trouble with the audio on car play for my map directions. It no longer seems to be going through the car I connect my phone to car play, start directions and the sound does not seem to be coming through the car
