Missing favorites contacts Tab on iPhone 15 is missing now
After updating my iPhone 15, my Favorites tab isn't there. Are my Favorites at the top of my Contacts listings?
iPhone 15, iOS 26

Correct, in the Unified view which is selected by default after updating, favorite contacts are now at the top of the Calls page. You can also switch back to the Classic View by tapping the three lines icon in the top right corner, which will bring back the dedicated Favorites tab.

I just got off of the phone with Apple Support. At the bottom of your screen you should see "calls", "contacts" and "keypad". If you click on "calls" at the far left, it should bring up the 3 lines in the upper right hand corner where you can switch to the "classic" view and get back your favorites.
It sounds like they are getting a lot of calls about this! I don't understand why they thought this was a good idea for the new update,

Yes. I have mentioned this twice in this thread.
The Favorites button is in the Phone app, not the Contacts app.
Easy to find the favorites in the unified look. Click on “show all” and there they are.

Gone are the days when Apple updates were designed to make usage EASIER. They were to IMPROVE the user's experience, not add time to trying to locate changes then figure them out. Recently visited an AppleStore and even their "genius" was stumped. Not a good sign for Apple. Many of the "solutions" suggested by Apple DO NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM!!!!!!!

If you need classic, switch to classic.
I agree. The only thing I use my Favorites for is so that the people on there can ring through, even when I'm on "Do Not Disturb", in case they have an emergency.
I went to add my daughter-in-law and I couldn't until I read what was on this page.
It was one of the silliest things they could have eliminated.
Totally agree!!! Apple was the easy intuitive solution. Now it’s the complicated have to go through a bunch of processes. The amount of TikTok videos on how to use your iPhone have exploded. Never used to be that way.

I HATE HATE doing updates due to this reason! Then I spend countless time looking at YouTube, etc to find answers.. I finally found this answer and clicked BACK to classic!
You mean the answer that was given in the first response in this thread back in October?
Thank you so much! I don’t know why Apple has to screw around and mess up a good thing. To the point where we have to do Internet research to figure out how to get it back to how we want it! There would be no reason for them to take a favorites list out! So annoyed and closer to Samsung every day!

Apple doesn't read here for feedback or suggestions. You can, however, let them know your thoughts here:
And you should buy whatever kind of phone best meets your needs. It makes no differenece to anyone here. And Samsunc does seem to have resolved the exploding battery issue.

Well they should read here if they care about their users.
That's not up to me. Or you. What we can do is use the tools we have available. For feedback and suggestions, that's the feedback link previously provided. If you want support directly from Apple, there's a link to it at the bottom left of every page of these forums.
