Question

belkin wireless G usb network adapter 10.5.4

I have a belkin wireless G usb network adapter. it worked on 10.0.1, i have upgraded to 10.5.4, it no longer recognises it.

Please help i have tried drivers:
Belkin wireless hub nic 10.3
f5d9050v4mac

Nothing works.

Have you checked the Belkin site for drivers and whether or not it is OSX 10.5 compatible?

Yes, as per my list in my original post. These dont work and there is no drivers the belkin site 10.5.4 but i cant believe that the usb device cant work, when it works on Windows 7

If there aren't any drivers for it and if it isn't Mac OSX 10.5.4 compatible it isn't going to work.

What are you using the usb network adapter for? If you're going to get a new one, just go to an electronics store, pick one out, and ask if its compatible with Mac.

Im using the USB wireless adapter to connect to my wireless network and the internet. No i have purchased another usb adapter that states it works with all OSX versions. Yes it does but its so antiquated, when you reboot you have to manually connect every time.. No apart from getting my mac mini fitted with an airport card, which i dont want to do. Is there any usb adapter that works as it should out there.

Well any USB-wireless adapter should work as long as its not too old. You'll most probably have to install drivers to use it but i guess the only other solution is to use and ethernet cable.
