Unfamiliar login screen loads more and more since Tahoe 26 update

So, I had this issue with Sequoia too, but it had to do with FileVault misconfiguration. I was able to solve with safemode and disabling FIleVault.

However, since the new update to MacOS Tahoe 26, another new login screen pops up, and I am unable to login at all. I have tried safemode.

I tried booting into recovery and deleting the .AppleSetupDone file in order to trick Mac into thinking that it's a fresh install. I have repaired the drive, I have reinstalled the OS from the beginning. None of these solutions are working apparently. What can I do?

Not sure what is a "misconfiguration of FileVault".

Nothing to go on here...

What is this "new login screen pops up" that you are referring to? You will have to say more/provide a screen shot/something for more insight to the complication you are encountering.

If you are at the Log in screen if you hold the Option key and click return\enter key does it cycle to your user account to proceed as normal?

If this is some carry over from Sequoia it does not seem that you "solved" the issue, but perhaps complicated the issue.

Your < .AppleSetupDone > is no longer applicable. Beginning with macOS Sonoma Apple closed this loophole

I suspect you have to Erase all Content and Settings if you are stuck.
