iPhone 17 Pro delivery delay

I ordered iphone 17 pro silver on 23 September, still it is showing order processing and showing delivery date 8-14 October. Is it same for everyone. Why is it taking more time for delivery.

Your order will remain in Processing UNTIL just before it is being prepared to ship. Your subject says "delivery delay." You are NOT experiencing a delivery delay as Apple clearly told you your order will arrive between October 8 - 14. It's only October 2nd. If you don't get your phone by October 14th, THEN and only THEN do you have an delivery delay.

I know it's difficult to wait for something you want. But when Apple tells you your phone will arrive within the time frame specified, it WILL arrive on time.

When your iPhone is being prepared to ship, the status will update and not a moment before it is being prepared to ship. And once it is being prepared to ship, it will then change to Shipped, and Apple will then send you a tracking confirmation, so you can track it yourself.

You need to patient and trust that things are progressing exactly as they should be.

Thank you for replying with your concerns, ABDU00. 😉

Here at the Apple Support Community, we are volunteers (thoughtful Apple users) who share knowledge in an effort to help others, such as yourself.

We don’t have the power to look into accounts or delivery status.

Only an authorized Apple employee would have access to the resources to help you prior to delivery. Once an item ships, then you should expect delivery status updates.

All the best! 👋🏼😉

PreOrdered mine ... delivery shows Nov. 11... this is one of the worst launches I can remember.

Worst? Nope. For Apple, it has to be one of the BEST launches ever. The Pro Model phones are in exceedingly high demand. They can only make them as fast as they can. When demand exceeds supply, that means people need to wait and be patient. The phones are delivered on a first come first served basis. I've had my 17 Pro Max since launch day, but then I preordered my phone within the first 3 minutes of when preordering went live. It will be worth the wait, however.

Except when Apple makes 3 surreptitious "updates" that push that delivery date further and further without notification, like they've done to me waiting on the iphone 17 pro max which I ordered on the first available date possible after the release. It's now expected by sometime around Thanksgiving. But yeah, I guess other than that their word is their bond.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. It's not how it normally goes. Love the sarcasm, though.......😈
