I have my step counter on my watch face and since the iOS 26 .0.2 update it no longer shows it. I use the pedometer + app and it still lets me open the app on my watch to check it, but won’t show the step counter on the watch face. I have turned it off and on again (twice) and done the same with my phone.

Other users deleted the pedometer+ app, reinstalled it and then added the complication again to the Watch face.

I had the same problem. You have to go into the complication and re choose steps only. It then showed up for me.
Have you removed the complication from the face and added it back? Have you removed the app from both the watch and the phone and reinstalled it? Have you contacted the app developer?
