Apple Watch 11 now gives me a notification of how many miles to home....every mile

In the past, when I got into my vehicle at work for the commute home, it would notify me how many miles and minutes to home. I upgraded to an Apple Watch 11 and an iPhone 17 pro and now it notifies me each mile on the trip home which is very distracting and annoying. I see no settings to change that other than to turn off notifications, but I am not even sure if it a notification function or some other setting.
