Sound issues iphone 13 on IOS 26

Hello, I have an iphone 13. I'm facing a unique problem ever since I upgraded to IOS 26. At times I turn down my handset volume to zero while watching YouTube short videos or videos on X/ Twitter. During that moment, if I recieve a WhatsApp audio call, the volume of the youtube/ X app video shoots up on its own and starts playing at max volume unltill I press the volume down button once to mute it again. However this is not happening while playing videos from my gallery.

How do I sort out this issue? Anyone else facing this?
