I have purchased an iPhone Air in Cloud White. I love the shiny natural titanium rails, but I really dislike white phones. If I paid for a replair to my back glass (Its not actually damaged) would Apple allow me to change the back to a Black iPhone Air Back?

No, they won't do that. Even if you needed the back glass replaced because it was damaged, it will be replaced with the exact color that phone is coded for. You had 14 days from original date of purchase to return the phone for refund. You could then buy the color you want if you are within the 14 day return window.

iPhone Air is a brand new iPhone. Apple definitely won’t allow it and I’m speaking as a former Apple Store manger. However, if you’ve more money than sense, an independent repair facility will gladly help separate you from your hard earned money $$$$.
Jt may be a few months before third party Chinese made replacement backs are available, but when they are expect to spend $200 or more for the replacement.
Then why did you buy a white phone?
You have 14 days to return it for a refund. After that, it's yours.
If you're that unhappy with it, get a case or sell it and buy a black one.
