Iphone 16pro LOG footage orange when apple LUT applied

I am shooting apple prores LOG for the first time on my iphone 16 pro and am having trouble color grading in FCPX. Once I import the footage, the custom Apple LUT is applied and the footage looks orange. I have also bought and tried Apple log LUT's online that do similar things. I would just like to have a base line from which I can edit or add a custom look for specific looks.

Any ideas? What am I missing here?

Just as a note, I had paid attention to to my exposure during filming so I know its not terribly over or under exposed.
