The appearance of the Lock Screen after the Tahoe 26 upgrade.

Since upgrading to Tahoe 26, the clock's number has become an ugly transparent display that obviously doesn't work for me. I have tried several methods, including contacting Apple, but the issue remains unresolved. I believe it has to do with my choice of a flat black desktop... I would like to have the option of plain white numbers again. Here is the screenshot:

This is a 'feature' of Tahoe, you can turn the clock display off entirely in System Settings > Wallpaper > Clock Appearance button (set Show large clock to Never), and you can alter the font and weight ('boldness'), but you cannot alter the transparency level.
