Message indexing after iOS 26.0.1 update

I did the update two weeks ago and still am not able to search in my messages. I use this feature all the time, multiple times a day so this has been a huge inconvenience. It still just says "No results. More results will be shown once Messages finishes indexing." Anyone else have this issue?
