iPhone won’t charge past 80% even with Optimized Battery Charging off

I turned off the optimized charging because I don’t use it and I need my phone to charge to 100% if I’m leaving it to charge, not 80. My phone still won’t go past 80 even though it’s off. Is there a way to fully deactivate that feature on my phone, or is there a fix in the works for this?

Set charge limit to 100% and turn off Optimized Charging. You may need to also turn off Clean Energy Charging too.

Please do a screen shot of the graph showing the charging and post it. Are you using an Apple charger or a third party charger?

that made it charge past 80, but my phone is still charging at a snail’s speed like it did after the update installed those settings. For example, before the update I used to be able to plug my phone in at midnight at it would be fully charged by 6am. Now it randomly stops the charging and takes what feels like twice as long.

I believe that it’s an apple charger, but I still find it odd because my phone used to charge just fine regardless so long as it fit the charging port. Now it randomly stops charging and it’s taking forever to charge 8% of the battery
