Apple Watch Series 7 won't turn on after unboxing

I try to charge the new watch series 7 out of the box and the apple logo comes up then goes brown. Then it continually does this in a loop repeating itself over and over but never boots up.

What can I do about this. Cheers

Original Title: I have a brand new applewatch series 7 that I have just got out of its box. It won’t allow me to turn it on. The apple logo comes up then it goes brown and then disappears. Then it continually goes around in a loop and doesn’t boot up.

Where did you buy this Apple Watch?

Do you use the USB charging cable that came with the watch and at least a 20W Apple power adapter?

The Apple Watch 7 has been discontinued 2022. If the watch has been sitting that long in the shelf, the battery might be damaged.

If it is not starting up after letting it charge for at least 30min, you should return it.
