I noticed this key was jammed earlier today, and when I got the keycap off, I found this. Key works fine, but it sure looks bad...

I cannot tell for sure, but is the rubber/silicone nipple damaged or cut? If so, then the entire Top Case/Keyboard will need to be replaced. Otherwise I don't see any issues with the scissor mechanism. The lighting is really poor making it hard to see any relevant details.
You should try taking another picture of the area with the keyboard backlight turned off or the McBook shut down. The keyboard backlight is blowing out the exposure of the photo obscuring any details (as HWTech points out).
